Teacher spends a day in the Managing Director's chair at Kirson

For the fourth time since 2003, Kirson GmbH took part in the "Teacher in the Managing Director's chair" campaign which involves providing those people who teach young students economics with an insight into business life first hand. Of course, the teachers are not required to stand in for the boss and run a company for a day. The aim of having teachers accompany the MD or other managerial employee while he goes about his daily business is to give them a realistic insight into the process sequences and workings of a company.

Approximately 450 teachers and businessmen and women took part in the special promotion day again this year. Kirson was visited by Mrs. Anja Köhler  who teaches mathematics and economics at the Johann-Turmair secondary school in Abensberg.

After accompanying the managing director during his daily round of inspection, the Kirson business model was explained.  By taking part in both brief and longer meetings, Mrs. Köhler was able to gain a realistic insight into the multifaceted and varied tasks to be performed throughout the course of a completely normal working day. The teacher in Abensberg was particularly impressed by the fact that the background to the personnel acquisition and management processes was explained to her in detail and without omissions.

After the summer holidays, a managerial employee from Kirson GmbH will make a return visit to Abensberg secondary school and provide the pupils with information on what employers particularly look out for when it comes to job applications and interviews.
